In Balance Counseling, LLC is a safe place to heal from the effects of negative life circumstances, develop skills to help decrease symptoms of anxiety and depression and successfully work through life transitions such as loss of job, grief, relocation, and divorce.
At In Balance, the focus is on a cognitive-behavioral approach; while we often cannot change the event/transition that has happened to us, we have the ability to change our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors regarding our perception of that event and therefore affect a more positive life outcome.
My experience includes school-based therapy as well as participation in a group private practice with a client base from ages 14 to 100+
